About the Role

Five Below is seeking a leader to help create a 'WOWplace' by fostering a culture of energy and passion. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing front-end operations, and supporting the store manager in team development and daily store maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members provide excellent customer service and a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Lead the store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals.
• Manage front-end operations and ensure merchandising standards for candy, soda, and snacks are met.
• Maintain front-end equipment and ensure staff are trained on services.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, store cleanliness, and recovery.
• Perform store manager duties in their absence.
• Partner with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, and supervise crew members.
• Review and react to corporate communications.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising and store recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks including cleaning, sweeping, and stock room management.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to reach merchandise at heights of 5-10 feet.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
• Ability to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts.
• Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
