About the Role

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Manager, Proposals to provide full proposal lifecycle support across US practices, ensuring responses are completed efficiently, consistently, and professionally. This role requires strong organizational skills, creative thinking, the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the preparation of proposals.
  • Coordinate input and gather insights from multiple sources, including pricing, legal professionals, legal project management, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop and manage relationships and work collaboratively with business development peers in practice areas, sectors, and client teams.
  • Provide project management support and information resources for strategic and panel responses.
  • Write, edit, and manage up-to-date practice and experience descriptions and copy.
  • Support the auditing of existing materials to evaluate strategy and create new copy and approaches.
  • Update and maintain the opportunities module tracking system and assist in the creation of leadership reports.
  • Direct coordination with partners and key stakeholders of the firm.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues on a global level for inter-region and panel opportunities.
  • Prepare placemats and client presentations, as requested.

  • Strong professional presence, comfortable interacting and collaborating with lawyers, other professionals, and staff.
  • Possesses diplomacy, enthusiasm, and perseverance.
  • A self-starter who can work on own initiative and is proactive in developing solutions.
  • Ability to liaise confidently and build relationships with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills and ability to manage workload.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel functions).
  • Promotes and demonstrates business principles of quality, unity, and integrity.
