About the Role

The Software Engineer role focuses on delivering quality code to advance the company's technology-enabled business. This involves writing new code, maintaining existing code, and handling tasks of moderate to high complexity with minimal senior assistance.

Responsibilities

• Document, design, and deliver high-quality code, and collaborate on testing (60% time).
• Fix assigned software defects on time and to quality specifications (30% time).
• Provide accurate estimates for assigned work (5% time).
• Represent the team in code reviews (5% time).

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in Go
• 3+ years experience in Python (preferred)
• 3+ years in a previous Software Engineering role (Required)
• 3+ years in Object-oriented and procedural programming (Required)
• 1+ year working with Vue.js (Preferred)
• 1+ year using software defect tracking tools such as Jira (Preferred)
• Experience with multiple programming languages
• Experience with Git source control
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Read and understand software requirements
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and work independently to test and debug code
• SDLC methodologies
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Experience designing and implementing UI/UX solutions

Experience Level

• 3+ years experience in Go
• 3+ years experience in Python
• 3+ years in a previous Software Engineering role
• 3+ years in Object-oriented and procedural programming
• 1+ year working with Vue.js

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
