About the Role
Lead all finance activities for eight Watch Maisons within Richemont Americas, supporting business development and driving financial performance. This role serves as a strategic business partner to Maison Presidents and Americas business leaders, optimizing fixed cost leverage, profit, and cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of four financial analysts.
- Manage the monthly close process, ensuring accurate financial results and monitoring trends.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast future performance.
- Guide the team in managing rolling forecasts, latest estimates, and annual budgets.
- Ensure timely variance analysis to business partners, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Manage and distribute consolidated month-end reports with insightful commentary.
- Monitor headcount and drive personnel cost controlling.
- Support business development activities and control fixed costs.
- Oversee capital approval requests (CAR), including detailed P&Ls and supporting commentary.
- Monitor CAPEX spending by project vs. budget.
- Direct internal controls process and requirements for the Watch brands.
- Drive a strong internal control environment with appropriate risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance aspects are respected in all financial activities.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other relevant field.
- 10 to 15 years of FP&A experience, preferably in a large, multinational, publicly traded company environment.
- Experience managing and developing a team of varying skill levels.
- Luxury and/or retail company experience a plus.
Skills
- Deep background in finance and accounting principles, particularly IFRS.
- Strong business acumen and ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Technology proficiency and a forward-looking mindset.
- Experience with SAP and Anaplan a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of MS-Excel, SAP Business Objects Analysis, PowerPoint, Looker/GCP and Power BI.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to interpret qualitative as well as quantitative information.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels and functions within the organization.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, results oriented, ability to deal with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
- Curious nature with the ability to be proactive and problem-solved.
- Detail-oriented with keen time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
