About the Role
The Coordinator, Communications - Content Production (CPC) will manage and execute video and audio projects for internal communications and external Firm marketing, from planning through delivery and archiving. This role involves coordinating global video shoots, handling production logistics, organizing digital assets, and partnering with technology teams to optimize production tools and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive project tracking and ensure accurate monitoring of active projects.
- Manage the project archive spreadsheet, ensuring key data is thoroughly cataloged.
- Proactively identify and resolve production challenges or risks to keep projects on track.
- Lead Content Production team check-in meetings.
- Develop and maintain detailed filming schedules for global video shoots.
- Coordinate logistics for in-person and remote video shoots, including equipment transportation and room reservations.
- Liaise and train local AV/IT teams for production needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication.
- Assist producer and videographer with video shoots.
- Create stringouts of footage and generate transcripts as needed.
- Lead the quality control (QC) process for all video content.
- Maintain project assets from filming through archiving, ensuring proper organization and backups.
- Prevent file duplication by managing digital assets effectively.
- Work with the IT team to update automated back-up protocols.
- Lead the implementation of new tools and workflows by preparing business cases and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Manage ongoing support of existing platforms and technologies.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of video production experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency or corporate environment.
- Firm understanding of the video production and post-production process.
- Strong project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize among competing priorities and multi-task across a broad spectrum of collaborators.
- Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be a proactive team player and take initiative.
- Ability to work independently, as well as on a team to meet deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
- Familiarity with Digital Asset Management software is a plus.
- Teleprompter experience is a plus.
- A sense of humor and a positive attitude.
