Responsibilities
- Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)
- Repack damaged product determined to be saleable
- Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage
- Properly record all dumped product
- Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred
- Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
- Must be dependable
- Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
Skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to work independently
- Safely operate electric pallet jack
- Good communication skills – written and oral
- Working knowledge of Excel
