About the Role

dnata USA is seeking a Deicing Agent to perform basic de-icing services for commercial aircraft, ensuring safety and operational efficiency at major airports.

Responsibilities

• Comply with attendance/tardiness and uniform standards.
• Perform basic de-icing service to commercial aircraft.
• Check aircraft for leading edge ice and frost.
• Apply deice fluid type 1 and 4 to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail.
• Drive large heavy vehicles around aircraft during de-icing operations.
• Accurately account for de-icing fluid transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles.
• Operate headset/radio for communication between ground crew, flight crew, and dispatch.
• Provide additional services as required by operational needs.
• Know and comply with all safety procedures.
• Meet station attendance standards.
• Work extended hours on short notice during irregular operations.

Requirements

• Possess/maintain a valid State driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
• Able to continually lift, push, or move 70 lbs.
• Must be flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Specific shifts to be determined by administrative staff due to operational needs.

Skills

• Experience driving large, heavy equipment preferred.
• Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
