About the Role
C-Care is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care in home and facility settings across Toronto, with a preference for candidates with fixed availability.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily hygiene including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Support client mobility and transfers using aids to prevent falls and injuries.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary requirements.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social interaction.
- Monitor and report changes in client behavior, health, and well-being.
- Deliver care in facilities according to institutional instructions and directives.
- Support facility staff as required.
- Coordinate transportation and ensure safe client transit to and from healthcare facilities.
- Monitor post-operative and post-procedural complications and perform after-care.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) diploma from an accredited institution.
- NACC certificate for credentials obtained from a private career college.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Valid Mask Fit certificate.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to follow directions from professional hospital staff.
