About the Role
The Sales Assistant will perform a variety of clerical and administrative activities to support the Sales team, ensuring the smooth flow of information and follow-up for existing and prospective customers/buyers.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Executives across the full sales cycle, from market prep through order fulfillment and in-season selling.
- Enter, manage, and audit purchase orders; track order status and flag discrepancies with accounts and internal teams.
- Data entry; maintain and update line sheets and product catalogs in NuORDER and internal merchandising systems.
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly selling reports and recaps, sell-through, best/worst sellers, on-hand, and class performance and surface takeaways for the team.
- Coordinate showroom and market-week logistics: sample management, appointment prep, presentation decks, and account follow-ups.
- Prepare account-facing materials, assortment recommendations, and brand/product knowledge decks.
- Track inventory and available-to-sell (ATS) reports.
- Review open order reports and coordination with customer service.
- Interact with other teams to improve seasonal performance and drive best practices.
- Keep account records, style master data, and sales trackers accurate and up to date.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree completion and a minimum of 1 year’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Word; Familiarity with AI tools a plus.
- Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge with proficiency in database management and word processing.
- Demonstrated proficiency composing written communications.
- Fashion knowledge is a must.
- High energy level, passionate, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
