About the Role

As an Associate Project Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to physical security technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role will require 25%+ travel. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordinating project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Support project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication between project teams and local business operation leaders, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and presentations.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
  • Maintain project management tools and systems to track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of security solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an additional 4 years of work experience in quantitative or business fields.
  • 1+ years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in the technology or security industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Skills

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Project Schedule Management via Ghhant Chart, Budget management, Cost Performance management) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Jira, Asana, Salesforce).
  • Basic understanding of physical security technologies are required (e.g. Axis, Genetec, Mercury, Aiphone, Von Duprin, HID).
  • Security Platform Certifications are a plus. (e.g. Genetec, Axis, Software House, OpenPath)
  • Familiarity with physical security technology systems (e.g., video surveillance, electronic access control, electronic door hardware, intrusion detection, intercom)

Salary/Compensations

  • $74,800—$110,000 USD
