About the Role

The AIOS Platform Executive owns the strategic direction of Zafin's AI Operating System (AIOS), the AI-native platform on which client engagements are delivered. This role sets platform strategy, chairs AI platform governance, and serves as the primary executive advisor to client and Zafin leadership on AI platform maturity, adoption, and expansion. The Platform Strategy Lead ensures architectural and governance consistency across all AI agent delivery and drives adoption of the agentic AI operating model across the organization. The role owns the Discover, Design, Build, Embed, and Expand delivery journey at the strategic level, ensuring every AI initiative builds durable, reusable platform capability. The Platform Strategy Lead sets the cadence of operating model reviews and expansion planning, and directs the progressive transfer of AI delivery capability from Zafin ownership to full client ownership, grounded in Zafin's own AI transformation. Every engagement is expected to leave client teams with more trustworthy, reusable AI capability than it started with. As the senior leader accountable for AIOS platform strategy and adoption, this position provides strategic direction across multiple teams without direct authority over delivery leadership. Success is achieved through executive influence, governance, organizational alignment, and the development of platform leadership capability across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic direction, adoption roadmap, and governance framework for Zafin’s AIOS across every team, also known as Functional Delivery Unit (FDU) and client engagement.
  • Chair AI platform governance forums and resolve cross-squad architecture and prioritization decisions.
  • Serve as the primary executive advisor to client sponsors and Zafin leadership on AI platform maturity, adoption, long-term platform strategy, and growth.
  • Own the enterprise-wide Discover, Design, Build, Embed, and Expand AI delivery journey, ensuring each initiative compounds into reusable agent and platform capability.
  • Direct the progressive capability transfer plan for each engagement, moving delivery ownership from Zafin-led to fully client-owned, self-sustaining AI engineering capability.
  • Maintain consistency across Platform Enablement, Client-Facing teams (FDUs), and Agent Operations squads by establishing governance standards, resuable operating practices, and common platform principles, to ensure one platform standard and maximum reuse of AI capability.
  • Chair the quarterly operating model review and expansion planning cadence, and own the platform's AI maturity roadmap.
  • Lead executive-level client discussions that convert initial AI agent deployments into enterprise-wide AI transformation programs.
  • Partner with the Knowledge & Governance function to ensure the AI platform remains trustworthy, auditable, and compliant in regulated banking environments.
  • Set and monitor platform operating metrics across business outcomes, DORA outcomes, AI agent delivery flow, AI agent quality and risk, and AI agent operations and economics.
  • Sponsor continuous growth of the reusable AI agent, knowledge, and platform capability library.
  • Direct scaling priorities that take an AI initiative from initial deployment to enterprise-wide capability: standardized intake, defined AI operating metrics, expanded use cases, reusable patterns and playbooks, and investment in workforce capability and change management.
  • Act as the executive decision point for architecture, delivery, or governance conflicts that cannot be resolved at the squad level; while balancing client outcomes, platform health and enterprise priorities.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor leaders and team members to build organizational capability, succession strength, and leadership consistency across these teams.
  • Communicate platform strategy, adoption progress, risks to executive stakeholders through governance forums and strategic business reviews.
  • Influence Product and Engineering roadmaps by identifying recurring client needs, adoption barriers, and enterprise platform investment opportunities.
  • Prioritize enterprise platform initiatives across competing client, business, and technology demands to maximize long-term value.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, including senior leadership or executive client-facing roles.
  • Deep understanding of agentic AI platforms, AI agent orchestration, and enterprise-scale AI delivery models.
  • Demonstrated experience setting enterprise including technology strategy, governance frameworks, and platform operating models across multiple teams or client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the banking and financial services technology landscape.
  • Executive-level consulting or client-partnership experience, with accountability for strategic business outcomes across multiple portfolios.
  • Experience influence enterprise technology strategy across multiple organizations without direct management authority.
  • Experience operating at the intersection of AI platform architecture, governance, and enterprise growth strategy.
  • Familiarity with engineering performance frameworks (including DORA metrics) and their extension to agent-driven delivery.
  • Understanding of how to structure a multi-phase AI transformation program, from initial deployment to self-sustaining client ownership.
  • Experience leading multiple-disciplinary teams or organizations through senior leaders.
  • Experience scaling an AI, automation, or platform business line within a financial services or enterprise software company.
  • Experience leading a large-scale operating model transformation involving AI or automation, not solely a technology deployment.
  • Experience building enterprise governance models, resuable operating frameworks, or platform adoption strategies across multiple business units.
