About the Role

Seasonal Custodians will be responsible for the cleaning and maintaining Radio City’s interior and exterior prior to and during events for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility standards and assist in general cleaning.
• Sweep floors, clean spills, and dump garbage.
• Perform upkeep of restrooms during events.
• Provide general maintenance of public areas.
• Handle facility equipment of different sizes and weights.
• Receive deliveries and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ensure that MSG standards are always met and exceeded.
• Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members by adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines.

Requirements

• Custodial experience at an entertainment venue or large commercial property.
• High level of energy and commitment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work with various operating groups.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
• Receptive to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to climb and descend multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment or supplies.
• Ability to work within an environment with loud noises and everchanging visuals.
• Ability to stand and move about the theater throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
