About the Role
The VP, Affiliate Delivery owns the vision and outcomes for the affiliate client services organization. This role is responsible for defining the structure, resourcing, and execution of affiliate programs while driving commercial and operational performance. As a P&L owner, the VP will lead the transformation of the team structure and integrate AI-driven workflows to scale delivery quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold the globally dispersed affiliate client services organization accountable for performance and culture.
- Develop a deep bench of managers and drive intentional succession planning.
- Serve as the final decision-maker on department headcount, hiring, promotions, and compensation.
- Manage department margins by overseeing utilization, staffing plans, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional delivery and proactive risk management.
- Identify and close execution gaps while championing the adoption of new tools and AI-driven processes.
- Establish single-threaded ownership for key decisions to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Partner with Executive Leadership to shape the long-term vision and operating model for affiliate delivery.
- Collaborate with Account Directors to ensure delivery quality supports client retention and expansion.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on affiliate marketing and market trends.
- Partner with Sales on new business strategy, RFPs, and pitches.
- Partner with Marketing to develop the agency's affiliate delivery point of view and positioning.
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and People to scale the practice sustainably.
- Pilot new team structures, workflows, and delivery models.
Requirements
- 10+ years of combined affiliate marketing and client services or agency experience.
- Proven track record owning and scaling a business line, practice area, or large client portfolio.
- Experience leading managers and cross-regional teams across multiple geographies.
- Deep expertise in affiliate program strategy, execution, and performance measurement.
- Strong understanding of how affiliate integrates with influencer, retail media, and broader partnership marketing.
- Demonstrated experience leading AI adoption or transformation initiatives.
- Financial acumen, including forecasting, margin management, and P&L ownership.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including internationally.
- Based in the U.S., with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones.
