About the Role

Assists Design Consultants with scheduling, preparing, and following up on design services for customers. Attends client homes to ensure proper furniture placement and color coordination, recommending additional furniture and accessories. Supports in-store engagements and appointments, with potential for sales training on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and attends qualified home visits with clients alongside a Design Consultant.
• Works evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate customer schedules.
• Assists with all aspects of in-home visits.
• Helps build personalized presentations using approved templates and displays, including furniture samples and room plans.
• May draw floor plans using Havertys.com floor planner software.
• Provides feedback after house visits, floor plan completion, and presentation development.
• Assists with the creation of special-order SKUs and sales reserves.
• Creates floor plans for in-store clients to visualize purchases and aid in closing sales.
• Offers constructive feedback to Design Consultants to help build sales and increase average ticket value.
• Maintains knowledge of special sales, financing plans, delivery procedures, and warranties.
• Reinforces customer selections and assists in closing sales.
• May use My Sales Center for customer follow-up.
• Maintains knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles and products.

Requirements

• Must possess a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to drive and provide personal transportation for customer in-home appointments.
• Reliable transportation with verification of minimum state-required car insurance is necessary.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
