About the Role
The Adobe Corporate Partnerships team drives growth and market share through strategic product and technology partnerships, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating GenAI partnership deals. As a Principal in the GenAI Platforms Corporate Partnerships team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to advance GenAI strategies through key ecosystem partnerships. This is a high-visibility role demanding responsiveness, adaptability, and a proactive approach, ideal for someone eager to drive impact in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Showcase deep knowledge about the GenAI ecosystem, including business model, customer segmentation, customer workflows, product offerings, competitors and more
- Identify and deliver on high-impact GenAI partnership initiatives with urgency and precision, ensuring alignment with Adobe’s strategic objectives and maintaining Adobe’s leadership in the GenAI ecosystem.
- Drive consensus and approval with key collaborators and executive leadership to formally engage in deal negotiation with applicable strategic partners.
- Negotiate strategic partnerships with third parties from inception to negotiation and management.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in business development or product partnerships crafting non-standard, high impact deals with large strategic partners
- Ability to operate as a creative problems solver with a high degree of independence, incessantly seeking opportunities to materially impact the business.
- Proven track record of building positive relationships and driving consensus internally across product, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, sales and more; proficiency driving alignment across complex business decisions with executive leadership
- A proactive, ambitious mindset with the drive to move quickly and deliver impact in a high-visibility role.
- Exceptional responsiveness and adaptability — you anticipate needs, act with urgency, manage shifting priorities and thrive in fast-changing environments.
