About the Role
The Marketing Senior Analyst (SVP) is a pivotal member of the NAM Private Bank Marketing team, driving the evolution from an event-centric model to a comprehensive, 360-degree marketing approach. This role requires intellectual curiosity, commercial acumen, and creative ambition to shape a thought leadership agenda and translate complex financial services narratives into resonant client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in shaping the NAM Private Bank's thought leadership agenda, identifying compelling content themes, curating relevant speakers, and building event agendas.
- Translate complex market and investment narratives into engaging, client-relevant content across various formats.
- Own and manage all aspects of client and prospect events, from strategic concept to post-event follow-up.
- Maintain and leverage the Salesforce CRM database for event targeting and relationship tracking.
- Contribute to and help plan the NAM Private Bank's social media and digital marketing strategy.
- Develop content calendars and identify relevant topics and formats for digital channels.
- Track and report on the impact of marketing activities across key metrics, including event attendance, client engagement, pipeline support, and digital performance.
- Use post-event feedback and data-driven insights to refine best practices and demonstrate marketing value.
- Prepare detailed client and event briefings for senior management and business leaders.
- Act as a trusted marketing partner to bankers, investment teams, and product specialists.
- Research and conduct competitive benchmarking to identify best practices, emerging trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Proactively recommend new approaches to the team based on market research.
- Embed regulatory, legal, and compliance considerations into all marketing activities.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to laws, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
- Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience preferred in marketing within financial services, private banking, or wealth management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop and curate thought leadership agendas.
- Broad marketing skill set spanning events, content strategy, social media, and digital channels.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and the UHNW client landscape.
- Ability to mentor junior colleagues and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and sound judgment.
- Highly self-motivated, with a proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
- Creative thinker who can translate complex financial narratives into compelling, differentiated client experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels and build strong cross-functional partnerships in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to pinpoint and track key performance indicators to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Experience working in a matrixed, regulated environment across multiple markets.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and digital marketing platforms.
- Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving business priorities.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time across NAM markets.
