About the Role

Provectus is a Premier AWS partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner focused on applied AI, helping enterprises achieve measurable business outcomes with AI solutions. We embed engineers and leaders as Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) and Forward Deployed Executives (FDX) within client operations to understand, build, and own the outcomes of bespoke applications and managed services. Our work centers on Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences, deploying pre-built AI Blueprints. We believe in doing the customer's job before automating it, embedding deeply within client teams to solve operating problems from first principles.

Responsibilities

Take the operator's seat for weeks to perform tasks like claims processing, underwriting, or revenue-cycle work before writing code.
Learn business domains quickly to become conversant in unfamiliar functions.
Ship GenAI/LLM systems to production, handling complexities beyond the prototype stage.
Build or own evaluation suites for non-deterministic systems and explain measurement rationale.
Deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, including containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, and CI/CD.
Engage in redesign conversations with business unit heads and scoping discussions with CTOs.
Manage ambiguity and take ownership in underspecified engagements.
Apply strong AI/ML foundations to reason about model failure modes.
Utilize strong hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork.
Contribute to building tooling and frameworks within a growing AI delivery practice.

Requirements

8+ years of software development experience, with significant production code accountability.
Hands-on current development work and intent to remain in that capacity.
Demonstrated ability to become conversant in an unfamiliar business function quickly.
Experience shipping GenAI/LLM systems to production.
Experience building or owning an evaluation suite for a non-deterministic system.
Strong engineering fundamentals, enabling productivity in unfamiliar codebases or languages.
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
Cloud-native delivery experience on AWS (GCP/Azure a plus), including containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, CI/CD.
Credibility with senior stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership.
Solid AI/ML foundations.
Strong hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
