About the Role
This role supports the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide total rewards programs. The successful candidate will help ensure programs align with business, HR, and regulatory requirements while delivering day-to-day operational support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with management and governance of group benefit plans, including policy reviews, plan design analysis and cost modelling
- Assist with the evaluation and benchmarking of existing employee total rewards programs against market practices
- Identify and implement process improvements and develop related policies
- Assist with annual benefits budgeting and forecasting
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting to inform health & wellness program strategy
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and collective agreements
- Investigate and resolve complex benefits issues and provide program guidance
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, harmonization, and plan redesign
- To be the primary contact for day to day program support
- Develop and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders including internal business partners, other departments, service providers, vendors and consultants
- Draft and review plan member communication
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in total rewards programs, financial analysis, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, pricing analysis and interpretation of large datasets
- Strong analytical, mathematical, project management, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused, collaborative approach
- French language proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel; including complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query and financial models.
- Experience with Power BI is an asset.
- Experience working with unionized environments or collective agreements
- Knowledge of benefits legislation
- Experience with Workday, SAP or similar HCMS platform
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
