About the Role
As VP, Brand Management, you will manage and lead the direction of Authentic’s Entertainment brands, ensuring their growth and viability in the EMEAI market. You will oversee licensee relationships to ensure brand vision delivery and achieve financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive brand performance by engaging and galvanizing the organization around the brand vision, position, and strategies.
- Support Brand Annual Operating Plan development with analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning support.
- Recognize and communicate patterns and data-driven insights, analyzing category, brand, channel, and customer dynamics.
- Collaborate with key internal partners to drive brand vision, position, and architecture, leveraging all brand components for growth and financial performance.
- Manage and coordinate brand activity across business development, marketing, PR, and other functions.
- Maintain brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all internal and external communications.
- Attend and assist with Brand Summits to communicate brand messages to external partners.
- Manage licensee partner relations by consolidating and organizing key business development tools for licensees.
- Partner closely with licensing partners to understand business models and product development cycles to drive retail profitability.
- Act as a key liaison to facilitate transactions between licensees and retailers in global markets.
- Drive brand development by identifying, creating, and executing product and category strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and refine consumer target segments by mapping market trends and data to create category growth and expansion plans.
- Present brand seasonal product lines, identifying trends, best-sellers, and calendar timing to prospective and current licensees and retailers.
- Assist in negotiating new licensing agreements and participate in key sales and marketing presentations.
- Facilitate effective licensing operations by participating in brand strategy discussions and setting a target consumer.
- Analyze consumer trends and information to identify product categories for brand growth and expansion in new segments and regions.
- Oversee the direction, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of licensing processes.
Requirements
- Experience in merchandising, business development, brand marketing, or licensing program management.
- Merchandising or Entertainment licensing and global brand experience is a must.
- Demonstrated success managing high-profile brands in brand management.
- Strong understanding of how product licensing deals are identified and negotiated.
- Experience securing and managing licensing deals in a variety of product categories.
- Excellent research skills to stay abreast of the latest trends in celebrity branding and product opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing royalty revenue data.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and strong presentation skills.
- Exhibits excellent attention to detail, is organized, and is results-oriented.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and forecast brand performance.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
