About the Role
As a Senior Technical Advisor, you will report to the Managing Principal and deliver in-house consulting services, providing guidance and advice to lending, insurance and equity underwriting groups from deal origination through to signing, monitoring, and asset management. Your work will result in enhanced and better-informed negotiations, structuring and decision making with respect to the financial transactions undertaken by EDC.

- Enhance and inform negotiations, structuring, and decision-making for EDC's financial transactions.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience in technical, consulting, project management or other role relevant to technical due diligence in the specified sectors.
- Accreditation as a Licensed Professional Engineer, or eligibility for licensure in Canada.
- Willing and able to travel within Canada and internationally for site visits or meetings, as needed.
- Must be able to work legally in Canada (Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents).
- Must meet requisite government security screening requirements.

- Ability to exercise sound technical and business judgement, often with limited information.

Salary/Compensations
- Salaries typically range from $112,006 to $149, 341 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.
