About the Role

LEAP is seeking an ambitious, talented, and driven Business Development Manager to join our growing Sales team in Toronto. This role requires demonstrated SaaS new business experience, a hunter mentality, and the ability to close deals in a consultative sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Sell LEAP Software and achieve required revenue quota
  • Perform webinar demonstrations and sales presentations
  • Manage assigned geographical territory with a developed sales strategy
  • Maintain a quarterly business plan with goals and KPI tracking
  • Ensure alignment and synergy with the BDR team
  • Align with customers to expand firm connections
  • Be open to coaching and feedback, utilizing tools like Gong for improvement
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and attend continuous training
  • Utilize sales assets throughout the sales process
  • Prospect in territory to drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth
  • Manage pipeline properly on Salesforce CRM, keeping tasks and information up-to-date
  • Coordinate with internal staff and prospects to ensure successful deal outcomes
  • Negotiate to achieve optimal sales price and offer incentives
  • Achieve the highest possible closing percentage for all leads
  • Coordinate and involve team members and management as needed
  • Provide forecasting and update pipeline fields for accuracy

Requirements

  • 3-5 years full sales cycle experience in the SaaS industry
  • Prior experience within the legal profession is desired but not necessary
  • Salesforce experience is preferable but not essential
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial acumen to build trust with senior directors and business owners
  • A strong ‘will to win’
