About the Role

The Clinical Partnership Development Specialist is responsible for securing and maintaining clinical partnerships essential for the operation and expansion of nursing programs. This role involves obtaining regulatory documentation, conducting site walkthroughs, and building relationships with healthcare organizations to support student clinical placements.

Responsibilities

  • Secure clinical documentation and affiliation agreements required by BVNPT and BRN for nursing board applications.
  • Conduct in-person site visits to establish partnerships and verify alignment with clinical learning objectives.
  • Coordinate site verification visits with the Dean or Program Director.
  • Manage the collection of EDP forms for BSN programs during the self-study phase.
  • Research and target healthcare organizations for clinical education opportunities.
  • Evaluate and coordinate clinical experience placements.
  • Initiate outreach via cold-calling, onsite visits, and follow-up communication.
  • Present partnership proposals to C-suite and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Spend over 50% of time in the field developing and maintaining clinical sites.
  • Ensure clinical partners support training aligned with academic and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee clinical contractual compliance, onboarding logistics, and documentation management.
  • Conduct periodic audits of agreements and documentation.
  • Develop and manage goals for clinical expansion and site performance.
  • Report weekly strategic initiatives and placement outcomes.
  • Track site data and agreement status using CRM tools.
  • Support employer engagement through advisory boards, events, and marketing.
  • Contribute to business development and industry conference presence.
  • Transition to site maintenance and growth-oriented projects after program establishment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically databases and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within the geographical area to visit clinical facilities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Recruiting, Client Relations, or Clinical Development.
  • Knowledge and competency within a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Safe driving history, dependable transportation, and current auto insurance.
