About the Role
BLOCK BY BLOCK is seeking to hire energetic and friendly people to help us at our Ambassador Program. This role involves pressure washing streets and sidewalks to ensure visitors are safe, secure, and feel welcome.
Responsibilities
- Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of surfaces.
- Use degreasers or removal chemicals as label recommends when requested by supervision.
- Maintain schedule as requested and provide feedback to improve schedule efficiency.
- Erect scaffolding as needed and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials from area being washed.
- Carry out company biosecurity and all safety procedures.
- Keep all tools clean.
- Drive safely and within the speed limits.
- Wear personal protective equipment.
- Stay aware of proximity of hot water to the general public and other team members.
Requirements
- Must be able to work outdoors.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, walk and bend when pressure washing.
- Must have a clean driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- CA Driver's License w Clean Driving Record is a plus.
- Experienced in Pressure Washing with Commercial Vehicles.
- Hospitality skills are required.
