Responsibilities
- Perform patient screening and evaluation
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct discharge planning
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs
- Manage patient cases
- Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised therapy
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants
- Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program
- Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration and self-study
- Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on industry trends
- Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines
- Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with state practice acts
Requirements
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
