About the Role

This role is centered on driver recruiting, focusing on connecting CDL and driver candidates with career opportunities. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with drivers, understand the importance of details, and maintain hiring momentum in a high-priority environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit primarily for CDL and driver positions
• Communicate with candidates by phone, email, and recruiting platforms
• Build relationships with driver candidates and guide them through the hiring process from first contact through next steps
• Screen candidates carefully to confirm qualifications, work history, and minimum safety requirements
• Utilize multiple systems and tools to track applicants, verify information, and maintain accurate candidate records
• Coordinate candidate movement through the hiring process in a timely and organized manner
• Maintain detailed notes, strong follow-up, and clear communication throughout the process
• Partner with internal leaders regarding hiring priorities, candidate status, and recruiting progress
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to own assigned sites while also stepping in to support broader team priorities when needed
• Help create a positive candidate experience and strong first impression of US 1 Shorthaul
