Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repair and maintenance according to dealership and factory standards.
- Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and make safety and reliability recommendations.
- Document all work performed on the repair order.
- Maintain an inventory of necessary technician tools.
- Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and participate in training.
- Provide exceptional customer experiences to drive loyalty.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
- Attention to detail.
- Organization and follow-up skills.
- Valid in-state driver’s license.
- Maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
- A passion for cars and customer service.
