About the Role
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) is a leader in mobile technologies, consumer electronics, home appliances and enterprise solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Channel Account Executive to manage the relationship with our Distribution Partner, Ingram Micro. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel management, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of business operations and market dynamics at Distribution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Manage ongoing pipeline and inventory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at our partners, including executives, sales teams, and account managers.
- Drive revenue growth through the channel by identifying new business opportunities, managing run rate, promoting products and services, and supporting sales efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
- Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks within the channel.
- Negotiate and manage partner agreements, pricing, and incentives to maximize mutual profitability and success.
- Lead joint business planning sessions, QBRs, and other strategic meetings to drive mutual growth and success.
- Mentor and support funded Head resources, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner forums to promote the brand and build relationships within the channel ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in channel management, preferably with direct experience with Ingram Micro or similar large channel partners.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through channel partnerships and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of technology products and services, particularly in the IT industry. Mobility products a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to travel up to 30%

- NYC: $157,500.00 to $180,000.00
