About the Role

Walbec Group produces high-quality construction materials and delivers unparalleled professional design, engineering, and construction services. We are seeking a professional to partner with the Project Manager, lead the field team, and resolve construction problems.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the Project Manager.
• Lead the field team consisting of Tradespeople, Foreman, and Subcontractors.
• Assist in resolving construction problems.
• Review plans and construction drawings.
• Order and schedule material deliveries.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors impacting ZTI's work.
• Create and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Mentor Foremen and Project Engineers.
• Manage safety, information & planning, personnel, materials, tools & equipment, and environment.
• Manage schedule, equipment, materials, tools, personnel, risk, cost, productivity, and quality.
• Be ultimately responsible for labor and equipment costs.
• Assist in job procurement/estimating/pre-job planning.
• Ensure quality of work meets company and client expectations.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Ten years of Foreman experience or five years of Superintendent/Construction Manager experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards.

Skills

• Electrical experience is preferred.

Experience Level

• Ten years of Foreman experience or five years of Superintendent/Construction Manager experience.

Education Level

• Technical/Secondary education in applicable field is preferable.
