About the Role

The Barista delivers exceptional customer experiences and actively contributes to the store’s sales performance by driving sales and representing the Coach brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests warmly, creating memorable experiences.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of menu, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage.
  • Meet sales goals by promoting beverages, food, and merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited availability items.
  • Support floor sets, replenishment, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards; operate espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages.
  • Work closely with team members to solve problems and share selling strategies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and delegating tasks.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work with food & beverage operating systems.
  • Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, including food safety and cash handling.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business—including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days (including but not limited to public holidays).
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs, occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom.
