About the Role
A Housekeeping Team Lead is key to delivering exceptional guest experiences by leading a dynamic housekeeping team to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment. You’ll ensure every room, public space, and facility shines with cleanliness and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Performing daily inspections of all guestrooms, public areas, and hotel grounds.
- Reviewing all discrepancies with the appropriate team member, while also re-inspecting the deficient areas prior to updating the room statuses in HotSOS.
- Creating service orders in HotSOS of any damage, broken items, non-functioning lights, and any other item not under the responsibility of the Services Department.
- Training all new Housekeepers and house persons.
- Assigning on-the-job training with inexperienced Team Members.
- Complete Cleanliness Certifications for all new team members before assigning them to areas and recertifying those housekeepers that are currently working in the department annually.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Prior cleaning experience.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience.
