About the Role
As a Gaming Inspector, you will ensure compliance and integrity in gaming operations. Your responsibilities include investigating, arbitrating, and resolving gaming-related complaints or inquiries. You will ensure adherence to Nation-State compact requirements, NIGC minimum internal controls, and internal accounting controls. Collaborating with gaming staff, you will uphold standards of fairness and transparency, contributing to a secure and enjoyable gaming environment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying and addressing potential issues for smooth operation.
Responsibilities
- Observes gaming-related activities and ensures compliance with Nation-State compact requirements and National Indian Gaming Commission internal controls.
- Using independent judgment and discretion, investigates and resolves gaming-related complaints or inquiries initiated by patrons.
- Collaborates with Surveillance, Games and/or other departments as necessary to thoroughly investigate and resolve complaints.
- Verifies validity of large wins at gaming machines, Pull tabs, Bingo and Keno.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Audit, or related field preferred; OR one to two years of professional experience in regulation, gaming, law enforcement or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel programs.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 11-20 pounds.
