About the Role

Schwab Technology Services (STS) enables the future of how clients manage their money by providing innovative and reliable technological products and services. Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS) Technology supports the technology needs of SAMS, which manages Schwab's proprietary funds and ETFs, overseeing over $370bn in assets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing delivery environment.
• Perform hands-on requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, and customizations for Investortools Perform, Credit Scope, and Inhouse portfolio construction applications.
• Translate business requirements into technology-friendly language and complete implementations in-house or with vendors.
• Conduct testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following Agile scrum processes.
• Collaborate in a full Agile model with SAMS businesses, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Act as a vendor liaison and techno-functional Subject Matter Expert (Level 3 SME and support) for escalations on Investortools Perform and Inhouse applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Fixed Income Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) with a strong focus on Investortools Perform configuration, customization, and development.
• Experience supporting Investortools Perform Task Scheduler, upgrades, custom report creation, and business configurations related to styles, rules, and trading.
• Experience as a vendor liaison and Level 3 SME for escalations on Investortools Perform and/or Inhouse applications.
• Solid experience with and understanding of Agile methodologies for developing epics, themes, user stories, supplementary requirements, and business rules.
• Prior data analysis and data-mapping experience with strong SQL skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Well-organized and disciplined with high attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable when working with various business domains.
• Strong Excel expertise, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data transformation.
