About the Role

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Technician responsible for inspecting, selling, and servicing fire suppression components. This role involves meeting productivity goals, maintaining company equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide inspections, sales, and servicing of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers and emergency lights.
  • Meet weekly service and productivity goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Ensure a safe environment for self, co-workers, and customers.
  • Manage time effectively to complete service calls with high quality.
  • Achieve weekly productivity goals assigned by the Branch Manager.
  • Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain required licensing and certification.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Work safely according to company procedures, including driving, PPE, and lockout/tag-out policies.

Requirements

  • Fire Extinguisher/Suppression experience is required.
  • Ability to learn applicable inspection and servicing codes.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.
  • A valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.
  • A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Excellent selling, communications, and customer service skills.
  • Applicable experience in the fire protection industry or commercial customer service is preferred.
  • An electrical background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with electrical work is preferred.
  • An ability to provide services across multiple product lines is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
  • Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
