About the Role
Join a 70-strong team of experts in the Risk Settlement Group to help clients navigate pension risk transfer markets. You will manage transactions, develop strategic advice, and contribute to the growth of the firm's market-leading propositions.
Responsibilities
- Support transaction advisers on pension risk transfer market settlements including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and capital solutions
- Manage the execution of transactions to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain relationships with transaction stakeholders
- Advise clients on strategic journey to settlement, market preparation, and feasibility
- Support internal and external new business opportunities and initiatives
- Leverage market knowledge to deliver settlement solutions
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, media engagement, and the annual risk settlement conference
- Develop new strategies and propositions for the Risk Settlement Group
- Coach, mentor, and support direct and indirect reports
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivery on settlement transactions
- Industry experience with sound technical capability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and ambitious mindset
- Ability to encourage and develop colleagues
- Ability to work effectively within diverse teams
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to consider wider strategic matters
