About the Role
The Associate Director will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Marine Hull account, focusing on client retention, new business development, and coordinating marketing and negotiation within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial engagement and cover confirmation to clients and/or networks.
- Develop and manage client and/or network relationships.
- Understand client's business and insurance requirements, providing technical advice.
- Set insurance program and placement strategy with the client.
- Prepare and tailor MRC's/MRCe's to meet client's insurance needs with optimum coverage.
- Analyze data and prepare submissions/presentations to markets/clients and/or networks.
- Present terms to clients and/or networks, including RFP responses.
- Assist in preparing marketing strategies.
- Conduct face-to-face Lloyd's broking and e-trading.
- Negotiate terms, obtain quotations, and place new and renewal business within London/International markets.
- Negotiate mid-term changes to coverage with markets.
- Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers.
- Utilize PPL and other London market/Aon proprietary systems.
- Manage files and marketing sheets.
- Manage ECM/critical documents/KPIs.
- Provide checklists, instructions, and calculations to Client Service Delivery and Processing Teams.
- Comply with regulatory and other standards.
- Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework.
- Comply with Aon UK Limited policies, including risk management and mandatory training.
