About the Role
Perfect Smile Doc is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Associate to maintain office locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys fixing things, and takes pride in keeping buildings clean, safe, and in good working order.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and routine maintenance throughout office locations
- Patch, repair, and paint walls
- Assemble office furniture and install shelving or fixtures
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as replacing faucets or fixing leaks
- Replace locks, door hardware, ceiling tiles, and light bulbs
- Complete basic carpentry and drywall repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve everyday maintenance issues
- Keep maintenance supplies and tools organized
- Perform routine inspections to identify repairs before they become larger problems
- Assist with office moves, installations, and general upkeep
- Work with outside vendors when larger repairs are needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in general building maintenance, handyman work, or as a building superintendent preferred
- Experience with painting, drywall repair, carpentry, furniture assembly, and basic plumbing
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and manage multiple repair tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable
