About the Role

Join our growing team as a Ford Certified Service Technician. This role is crucial for diagnosing and performing necessary repairs on vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification required.
• Ford Certification.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.
• A, B, C level qualifications.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
