About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Drywall Repair Technician to join our team in Austin. This role exists because we are committed to providing top-tier, efficient wall repair services to homeowners and businesses. If you are a craftsman who takes pride in making a wall look like a patch was never there, you will fit right in. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, offering the independence to manage your workflow while being supported by a professional, organized team.

Responsibilities

Execute drywall hanging, patching, and finishing to a high standard
Match existing textures to ensure seamless repairs
Perform touch-up painting and basic trim work as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
Manage your schedule and communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in drywall installation, repair, and finishing
Strong proficiency in texture matching
Ownership of hand tools, power tools, and drywall equipment
Reliable truck or van for transporting tools and materials
Clean driving record
Availability Monday through Friday (Saturdays optional)
Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
Experience with remodeling-related drywall tasks
Strong painting and trim carpentry skills
Prior residential service or repair experience
