About the Role
Soccer Stars of South Austin is seeking energetic, positive, and kid-focused coaches to lead engaging soccer sessions for children ages 2-10+. This role offers an active, meaningful, and fun job where you'll help children build foundational soccer skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love of movement. We provide a curriculum, training, and support; you bring the enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy soccer sessions that follow the curriculum and coaching philosophy
- Teach age-appropriate skills to small groups of children ages 2-10
- Create a positive, encouraging, and safe environment where every child feels successful
- Manage groups of up to 15 players with confidence and clarity
- Communicate with parents and program staff in a friendly, professional manner
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Ensure all safety guidelines and program standards are followed
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with kids

- Excellent communication and people skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive coaching style
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, morning and afternoons
