About the Role
As a Finance Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner to steer growth, optimize performance, and shape the financial future of a mission-driven neobank. You will bridge the gap between data and strategy, providing actionable insights to drive executive decision-making across Product, Technology, Lending, and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination, maintenance, and modeling of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Develop complex P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow projections.
- Partner with leaders in Banking, Tech, and Marketing to analyze unit economics and prioritize investments.
- Provide financial guidance for new product launches.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly deep-dives into expense and revenue drivers.
- Translate variance analysis into clear trends, risks, and profitability opportunities.
- Automate KPI reporting and synthesize financial data for senior leadership, investors, and regulators.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Treasury to streamline month-end close processes.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize FP&A software tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or corporate financial services.
- Strong foundation in financial theory, strategic forecasting, corporate budgeting, and GAAP accounting principles.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Proven track record of building sophisticated, dynamic financial models.
- Skilled in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage time-sensitive projects independently.
