About the Role

As a Mission Critical Electrical Specialist, you will independently perform the commissioning, testing, and verification of electrical building systems in the field. You will work alongside experienced technical professionals to ensure critical facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning testing and verification activities for electrical systems in mission-critical facilities and data centers.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems across full-load, no-load, and failure conditions.
  • Produce clear, thorough commissioning documentation in accordance with project requirements.
  • Verify installations against design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact on-site for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Contribute to safe, reliable, and high-quality project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent foundational experience in electrical systems, facilities, commissioning, or related technical fields.
  • Hands-on experience commissioning, testing, or maintaining electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Working knowledge of power distribution, lighting, wiring, and controls.
  • Proficiency using electrical testing tools and commissioning equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction specifications.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Ability to perform site inspections including walking sites, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
