About the Role
Forum Asset Management is seeking an IT Intern to support day-to-day IT operations across the firm. This role will be a key member of the IT team, contributing to keeping Forum’s people equipped, secure, and productive, with direct exposure to AI and automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day IT tickets in the ConnectWise/Jira queue, resolving routine hardware, software, and account requests.
- Assist with new hire setup, including laptop, account, and access provisioning for onboarding and offboarding.
- Support hardware and asset management, including device imaging and inventory maintenance.
- Assist with Microsoft 365/Entra tasks such as mailbox setup, license assignment, and distribution list management.
- Contribute to building out documentation, including SOPs and knowledge base articles.
- Support ticketing accuracy by assisting with daily syncs and IT service metrics reporting.
- Help monitor for phishing and spam, flagging suspicious activity.
- Support Forum's AI and automation pilots.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, IT, or related co-op program.
- Comfortable working across both Windows and Mac environments.
- Working knowledge of M365 administration.
- Basic networking concepts.
- Genuinely curious about AI tools and automation.
- Clear, confident writer capable of explaining technical fixes to non-technical individuals.
- Professional and steady under pressure with good judgment.
- Self-starter who notices what needs fixing and suggests improvements.
