About the Role

Join RODE as a full-time Interior Designer with 5-7 years of experience, focusing on multi-family, hospitality, and commercial environments. This role is ideal for a designer passionate about concept-driven design and eager for project ownership and professional growth within a collaborative studio.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all phases of the interior design process, including programming, space planning, schematic design, design development, material and finish selection, FF&E specification, detailing, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
  • Coordinate project teams and manage project tasks with guidance from senior staff.
  • Collaborate with creative leaders and designers to shape living, working, and gathering spaces.
  • Develop thoughtful, contextual architectural solutions.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to studio culture.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of professional interior design experience.
  • Experience in multi-family, hospitality, or commercial interiors is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines across several projects.
  • Desire to learn and contribute to studio culture.

Skills

  • Strong design sensibility with an eye for materials, detailing, and creating memorable spaces.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.
  • Collaborative mindset.
