About the Role
As a Host at Point Place Casino Hotel, you will be the first friendly face our guests see, greeting them with a smile, managing seating efficiently, and creating a welcoming, organized dining experience. We are looking for warm, composed, and guest-focused individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests are seated in a timely manner and greet every guest with a smile.
- Maintain constant awareness of table availability in designated area.
- Combine tables as necessary to accommodate larger parties while maintaining sufficient aisle room for Servers.
- Always demonstrate a pleasant demeanor and the ability to always be responsive to guest’s request.
- Ensure that restaurant entrance and exit are always attended.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency; preferred
- Previous Host experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 21 - 30 pounds.
