About the Role

SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their most valuable asset: time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform facility maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed.
  • Ensure all areas of the facility are free of dirt, dust, litter, and debris.
  • Conduct daily walks to identify and correct maintenance issues.
  • Sweep entrances, exits, stairwells, and clean surface areas, booths, and restrooms.
  • Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
  • Paint designated areas to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs.
  • Apply absorbent to oil spills.
  • Submit requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Inspect safety equipment, such as gate arms, for proper function and security.
  • Verify ticket spitters and gates are operating correctly, have sufficient ticket supply, and display accurate time.
  • Provide ticket and record gate counts to the Manager.
  • Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
  • Complete a garage/lot sweep sheet.
  • Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment for repairs or construction.
  • Remove snow from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas.
  • Report any observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
  • Practice customer satisfaction strategies and service behaviors.
  • Assist customers as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the operation and cover other duties as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the complete uniform.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
  • May require facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience and/or skills training.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record if driving a company vehicle or on company business.
  • Ability to speak clearly, listen, and get clarification.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to withstand working with dust, chemicals, and other possible irritants.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
