About the Role

Software Engineer II designs, develops, tests, and supports software solutions of moderate to high complexity. This role works independently on well-defined problems, collaborates with stakeholders and team members, and contributes to selecting and improving technologies used across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field; or the equivalent combination education and experience.
• Two years of experience in business software application design, development, and implementation.
• Experience in the industry or in an environment whose scope, size, and complexity are comparable.
• Foundational experience building software across frontend, backend, or RESTful APIs.
• Consultative and business analysis aptitude including communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of core computer science concepts (data structures, object-oriented design, basic algorithms and time complexity).
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
• Familiarity with modern development tools, frameworks, and workflows.
• Knowledge of common industry architectural patterns and in software design patterns.
• Able to work in a zero-code-ownership environment where team members can modify any source file at any time.
• Knowledge of deployment topologies (e.g., ensuring secure, highly available systems).
