About the Role

This role owns how customer-realized value becomes proof for the go-to-market team. You will build a system to identify customers seeing results, transform these outcomes into published proof and reference-ready advocates, and support sales and Business Value Services in winning and expanding accounts. This is an individual-contributor role and an entry point into marketing at Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run the system that turns customer outcomes into published proof (case studies, videos, quote cards) on a predictable cadence.
  • Grow a referenceable-customer bench, run the advocacy program, and provide proof tied to customer value realization to sales and ABM teams.
  • Source and prepare customer speakers for major events like Snowflake Summit, Databricks DAIS, and the Workflow conference.
  • Own the Sigma User Meetups (SUMs) webinar series.
  • Drive review volume and quality on G2 and Gartner Peer Insights.
  • Run programs like "Built with Sigma" awards.
  • Own and mature Sigma’s Customer Advisory Board (CAB) program in partnership with Business Value Services.
  • Turn CAB feedback into product input and pipeline.
  • Distribute relevant stories to the website, sales plays, and ABM pages.
  • Operate the AI-first system (Sigma, Claude, and connected tooling) for drafting, repurposing, and distribution, and improve the system over time.

Requirements

  • Three to five years in B2B SaaS value marketing, customer advocacy, customer reference, customer success, BVS, or a closely related field.
  • A track record of creating proof and references yourself.
  • Strong writing and storytelling instinct.
  • Comfort with AI tooling and eager to build agentic workflows.
  • Data fluency; ability to work within a warehouse-native analytics product, pull outcome numbers, and partner with RevOps.
  • Event and customer-speaker exposure.
  • Diplomacy to manage customer relationships and executive stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional operator who works across sales, Business Value Services, customer success, product marketing, and field marketing without friction.
