About the Role
Upstate Caring Partners is seeking energetic and motivated Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals. The DSP provides care, support, and assists residents with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Implement each individualized plan
- Attend to personal care needs
- Oversee the health, safety, and well-being of the people supported
- Keep nurses advised
- Participate in agency activities
- Transport and accompany people supported on activities in the community
- Assist in daily facility-related duties
- Maintain documentation
- Transport and accompany the people supported for appointments and community activities
- Serve as an advocate for the people supported
Requirements
- Valid NYS Driver’s License required
