About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our Workplace Services team at Box's office in Austin, TX. As part of the Communities and Impact Team, we are dedicated to fostering the unique Box culture. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary front desk point of contact Monday through Friday, managing employee, guest, vendor, and customer inquiries while delivering a professional and welcoming office experience
  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations
  • Manage WPS programs (i.e., food programs, shipping, office supplies, parking etc.)
  • Vendor set up and management
  • Office space planning, desk allocation, and moves
  • Uphold building and Box global security protocols, including managing Box and building badge activations/deactivations
  • Serve as an Emergency Coordinator for the Austin Office in close partnership with Box's Physical Security and Business Continuity teams
  • Manage office health and safety compliance requirements
  • Act as a culture builder by supporting the broader Community & Impact team on projects and events – including planning, coordinating, and executing
  • Welcome new hires by conducting office tours, introducing workplace amenities, and fostering a strong sense of community and belonging
  • Create and distribute internal communications such as Slack updates, to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Cross functional role supporting different departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration or relevant field
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience, ideally with a combination of office/facilities management, administrative work, and event planning
  • Self-starter, highly organized, flexible, and solution driven
  • A "roll up your sleeves" and get things done attitude - no task too big or too small!
  • A proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects
  • Experience in tech is preferred (but not required)
  • Systems knowledge will be a nice to have: Slack, Navan, Office Space, Canva, and Building Engines preferred but not necessary
  • Based on current business needs, there is no relocation assistance provided for this role.
