About the Role

Ark Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide immediate medical attention, diagnostics, and treatment for a diverse range of patients, including cats, dogs, and exotic pets. The role focuses on urgent care cases such as stabilizing sick and injured pets, wound care, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory distress, pain management, and other non-life-threatening emergencies, as well as performing urgent surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate medical attention, diagnostics, and treatment for a diverse range of patients, including cats, dogs, and exotic pets.
Stabilize sick and injured pets.
Manage wound care, gastrointestinal issues, and respiratory distress.
Provide pain management.
Perform urgent surgical procedures such as wound repairs, abscess drainage, and foreign body removals.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in the state of New York.

$135,000 - $155,000 annually
Pro-sal incentive of 22% (with no negative accrual)
Earning potential can surpass $190,000 per year
